Research Institute of Croatian Studies
The Research Institute of Croatian Studies is a scientific unit of the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb, which coordinates, integrates, develops and monitors the scientific activity of Croatian Studies in all its aspects.
The special task of the Institute is to bring together and connect researchers at the national level, with a focus on contemporary research topics related to the vision and mission of Croatian Studies.
It is conceived as an internationally competitive and recognisable research unit, distinguished by the quality and scope of its scientific output, capable of effective international cooperation and of making an important contribution to the development of science and higher education.
Main activities of the Research Institute of Croatian Studies
- participation at the national and international level for the purpose of exchanging experts and knowledge with other institutions;
- establishing cooperation with various state and public administrative bodies, scientific, research, professional and other institutions, as well as non-governmental organisations;
- organising scientific conferences, professional conferences, round tables and workshops;
- carrying out scientific and publishing activities;
- organising scientific research activities with a focus on the implementation of interdisciplinary empirical research.
