An electronic identity within the AAI@EduHr system is a set of data relating to an individual that is used for identity verification (authentication) and access rights management (authorisation). The data are stored in a dedicated database – the institutional directory.
Electronic identities are issued to users of institutions participating in the CARNET system, including students, teaching staff, professors and employees. They enable access to a wide range of services for learning, education, research and work within the academic community, as well as access to selected services of the Croatian e-Citizens system.
More information about applications that use AAI@EduHr is available at:

Every student of the Faculty of Croatian Studies is entitled to a user account upon enrolment in the first year of an undergraduate or graduate study programme. The account is created and issued during the enrolment process.
Following the commencement of employment, the Human Resources Office provides the necessary information concerning the new employee. A user account is created according to the type and duration of the employment contract. Login credentials are issued in person.
External associates are issued an AAI@EduHr user account upon signing the relevant documentation. The account is created for the current academic year and is extended if the person continues to hold the status of an external associate.
Guests of the Faculty may be issued an AAI@EduHr user account upon a written request from the Head of the Department hosting them. The account is deleted upon termination of their guest status.
The Faculty of Croatian Studies is a home institution and an electronic identity provider within the AAI@EduHr system. Data stored in the LDAP directory enable users to access AAI@EduHr, eduGAIN and eduroam services through secure and unified authentication.
A list of data that may be stored in the LDAP directory is available at:

You can review all data associated with your electronic identity after signing in to the following interface:

Data relating to the use of an electronic identity are retained for 24 months. Once the right to use an electronic identity expires, personal data are deleted from the LDAP directory within a maximum of 90 days.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability.
