Faculty of Croatian Studies Expands International Cooperation: Course Offerings within the UNIC Virtual Campus

We are pleased to announce that, starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, members of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb, will actively contribute to the course offerings available through the UNIC Virtual Campus. Through this initiative, the Faculty continues to strengthen its international visibility, develop global partnerships, and support the modernisation and internationalisation of higher education.

Participation in the UNIC Virtual Campus offers a number of benefits for both academic staff and students:

  • International visibility: Academic staff are given the opportunity to teach in a multicultural environment and share their expertise with students from across Europe.
  • Innovative teaching methods: The initiative encourages the development of digital competences and the use of contemporary forms of virtual teaching and learning, including the Virtual Exchange model.
  • Internationalisation at home: Students are provided with opportunities to develop global and intercultural competences and to establish academic and professional connections with peers from partner universities abroad.
  • Knowledge exchange: The initiative creates new opportunities for joint research projects, interdisciplinary cooperation, and the exchange of expertise within the European university alliance.

As part of this initiative, the Faculty of Croatian Studies will offer the following courses in English:

  • Advertising in Public Relations
  • Integrated Approach to Understanding Psychopathology
  • Criminology of Bullying
  • Sociology of Domestic Violence
  • Sociology of Development
  • Research, Measurement and Restraining Corruption
  • Sociology of Social Control and Police
  • Global Antiquities

Through this programme, the Faculty of Croatian Studies once again demonstrates its commitment to academic excellence, international cooperation, and innovative approaches to higher education, further strengthening its position as a visible, open, and engaged partner within the European Higher Education Area.
