The conference “Faces of war” is an event that has been organised at Uni Lodz Institute of History since 2017 and attended by over a hundred participants every year. It will be held on 1-2 June 2023. The topic of this year’s conference will be WAR and SOCIETY. In the attachment you can find more information about the event and the registration process.

Owing to the Ministry funding the organisers can fund a limited number of grants for the international researchers. This could include waiving the conference fee for the online participants or providing the accommodation in the University Training and Conference Centre.  Travel costs or accommodation in other locations could not be covered.

For the eight time, we invite you to participate in the FACES OF WAR conference, the subject of which this time will be WAR and SOCIETY.

We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the list of topics propose, with the reservation that we accept papers that go beyond the proposed areas, as long as they relate to the main theme of our conference.
