The Faculty of Croatian Studies, as a higher education and scientific institution, focuses on the study of all elements of Croatian national identity, territory and population - in the Republic of Croatia, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in neighboring countries where Croats are an autochthonous minority, and in the Croatian diaspora in Western and Northern Europe and overseas. Considering the latter, it is a logical choice for all those young Croats outside the Republic of Croatia who want to learn more about their origins, both through teaching and research. These individuals will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to become, upon their return to their communities, promoters of various activities aimed at preserving and maintaining Croatian national identity and ties to the Republic of Croatia. If these people stay in the Republic of Croatia, they will enrich it with all their human and intellectual potential.

All interested persons, members of the Croatian autochthonous minority in European countries (Austria, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania, Macedonia, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Kosovo and Bulgaria) and descendants of Croatian emigrants overseas and in European countries can find basic information on enrollment of students under the quota for Croats outside the Republic of Croatia at the Faculty of Croatian Studies, as well as information on study programs in the attached brochures in Croatian, English, Spanish and German.
