Description:
Course objectives: to develop students' scientific knowledge about the subject of teaching within the theoretical development concept; to enable students to differentiate and mean neighboring scientific fields, fields, branches and disciplines and multidisciplinarity of the subject interest; to acquaint students about the meaning of emigration in spatial processes and the correlation of emigration and overall development; enable students in discovering, recognizing and defining emigrant and developmental concepts, categories and laws; to train students for independent scientific research work related to the relationship between emigration and development; train students to apply standard and special methods and techniques in research on the correlation of emigration and development; explain to students the specifics of branch methodologies and the spatial, social and developmental conditions of emigration and development; to acquaint students with the development of world and Croatian emigrant influence; develop students' application of developmental projection methods and spatial models; explain to students the migratory conditionality for the development of the Croatian geographical area and society; train students to understand, explain and predict future emigration and development issues, trends, conditionality and consequences; to develop students' knowledge about the endangerment of basic systems in Croatian society and the area conditioned by emigration; provide students with knowledge about the wealth and values ??of Croatian emigrants; to develop in students a sense of common identity as a precondition for the overall development of Croatia.
