Assoc. Prof. Andreja Sršen is a university teacher and researcher at the Department of Sociology and holds the position of Vice-Dean for Science at the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb. At the Department of Sociology, she teaches the following courses: EU Sustainable Development Policies, Sociology of Croatian Society, European Union and Civil Society, EU Institutions, Sociology of Politics, International Relations and Geopolitics, Global Security and Climate Change. She participated in the initiative to sign the Cooperation Agreement between the European Parliament Office in Croatia and the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb.
She is also an associate professor for the course "Integral Ecology" at the Catholic University of Croatia.
She completed her scientific training in Rome in the academic year 2021/2022 and completed the Joint Diploma in Ecologia Integrale at the Pontifical University - Pontificia Università Gregoriana.
Some of the international and domestic projects in which she participated are: The Balkans Cooperation, Geopolitics, and Economic Transformations and Relations (2022; participation in the project); Database of Catholic Publications in the Croatian Digital Media Space (2024. Project participation); Environment and Social justice (2022.; Project participation).
She is currently the head of the joint lifelong learning study program "Climate Change and Security Challenges", which is also the name of the project she leads at the University of Zagreb.
