Global Youth Essay Contest sponsored...

Michigan State University’s Global Youth Advancement Network (GYAN) and Center for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (CERES) are hosting an essay contest for youth from Eastern and Central Europe.

The theme of this contest is Resilience and our goal is to provide a platform for young people to share their incredible stories, encourage and learn from one another, and generate solutions to some of the challenges they face. Many top essays will be published and there is $800 USD award money available for the winners.

Would you be willing to share this opportunity with your network?
In case it’s helpful, here are some resources to make it easy to share with 15-24 year olds who might be interested:
  1. Attached: social media graphic
  2. Links to social media posts for easy sharing: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
For several years, we’ve enjoyed getting to know young people who have participated in this contest series and had the pleasure of hosting discussions and presenting further opportunities for those who were interested. We would love to see some representation from Croatia, and we think stories from your youth could be especially impactful. Please feel free to share broadly and let me know if you have any questions. Thank you in advance for your time.
