The course explores how societies change and how development can be understood beyond economic growth, including social well-being, human rights, sustainability and quality of life. Students will learn to critically compare major theories of development, analyse development indicators and evaluate contemporary challenges in Croatia and other societies. Through discussions and practical work based on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and their relevance to ESG principles, international students will gain a valuable comparative perspective on global development and sustainable futures. |
