The aim of the course is to acquire skills in the application of certain quantitative research methods and designs in psychology, interpretation of the results and presentation of results in the context of the advantages and limitations of certain methods and designs. Based on insights into research results and practical experience in the role of participants, students will develop skills in selecting methods and designs appropriate to research problems, skills in recognizing their advantages and limitations, skills in interpreting results and scientific reporting based on empirical data using scientific literature.

1. Analyze the scientific knowledge of previously conducted research and theories in order to generate research hypotheses.
2. Prepare and conduct quantitative scientific research.
3. Conclude about the researched constructs on the basis of the integration of knowledge from the scientific literature with empirical data from their own research
4. Analyze critically the knowledge of the researched constructs in the context of the limitations of the used methodology.
5. Argue the appropriateness of individual research methods and designs in relation to the research problem.
6. Prepare scientific and professional reports on research results processed by appropriate statistical methods.
