The aim of this course is to provide an integrated perspective on the etiology of psychopathology by considering the interaction of genetic, biological, social, and individual factors. Particular emphasis is placed on a domain that is rarely addressed at the undergraduate level: the integration of knowledge from multiple disciplines (including genetics, neuroscienc e, epidemiology, and basic, evolutionary, clinical, and social psychology) within the context of the development of mental disorders. |
