The Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds is once again organizing the “Open Days of EU Projects,” which will take place from 8 to 24 May across Croatia. The event aims to present the opportunities offered by European funds and showcase successful projects financed by European Union resources.

As part of the program, the Ministry will open its doors to all interested visitors on Friday, 8 May, at 10:30 a.m. at its headquarters in Zagreb (Miramarska cesta 22).

Through informative content and an educational presentation, visitors will have the opportunity to learn how a successful EU project is developed, how European funds contribute to the development of local communities, and how regional development policy is implemented in practice. In addition to the educational program, participants can also expect information stands and promotional gifts.

The Department of Sociology invites students interested in European projects, regional development, and public policy to take this opportunity to gain new knowledge and insight into the practical aspects of preparing and implementing EU projects.

Due to the limited number of places, registration is open until Wednesday, 6 May 2026, at 3:00 p.m. via the application form.

More information about the event is available on the EU Funds Portal.
