As part of the scientific research project Artificial Intelligence: A New Interlocutor in Croatian Society (AI-COM), a new scientific paper has been published in the internationally peer-reviewed Journal of NeuroPhilosophy.

The author of the paper, titled "How the Physical Symbols Systems Hypothesis and the Modularity Hypothesis are Reformulations of each Other", is Assoc. Prof. Sandro Skansi, PhD, from the Faculty of Croatian Studies at the University of Zagreb.

The paper demonstrates that Fodor's modularity of mind hypothesis and the physical symbol system hypothesis are, in fact, two equivalent reformulations of the same theoretical foundations, thereby eliminating a long-standing false dichotomy and offering a clearer framework for understanding both human and artificial intelligence.
